Parking at Innsbruck Airport

We provide 350 open-air parking spaces for our passengers’ use, in addition to 750 spaces in the newly built multi-storey car park. Specially lit and signposted parking spaces for women are located next to the entrance of the multi-storey car park. There is no difference in price between open-air parking spaces and spaces in the multi-storey car park at Innsbruck Airport.

Five automatic payment machines operate around the clock for you to settle parking charges. These accept all major credit cards. Frequent flyers also have the option of agreeing cheaper long-term parking arrangements.

Tips when parking

As soon as you arrive in the airport grounds, you can choose whether to park your car in one of our open-air spaces (car parks P1 and P2) or in the multi-storey car park. As you drive in, take a parking ticket. Load your luggage onto one of the trolleys provided for you free of charge at all our car parks (these require a coin to function, which is returnable when you finish with the trolley). The check-in counters are located in the departures hall at the eastern end of the main terminal. If your tour operator has issued you with a parking voucher, you will need to cancel this before your journey at the Airport Shop/Information Desk in the main hall. When you leave the parking zone, the barrier will open automatically when you insert your cancelled/paid parking ticket in the correct slot.

Important note

Your entry ticket will allow you to park free of charge for a maximum of 30 minutes. Even if you leave your parking space within this period, you will need to cancel your parking ticket at one of our automatic payment machines. Once you have paid for your exit ticket, you have 15 minutes to vacate your parking space. Staff at the Airport Shop/Information Desk in the main hall will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about parking every day from 06.30 to 19.00. After 19.00, please contact airport management directly by dialling 300 on the dedicated telephone in the main hall (located next to the VAT refund office).
