Forget queuing up at the airport! Save valuable time with Austrian Web Check-in:

From now on you can check in with your etix® (elektronic ticket) directly from home or office, select your seat, travel straight to the airport with your printed boarding pass and use it to go directly to the departure gate. Alternatively, you might enjoy a relaxed coffee in one of our lounges. Austrian Web Check-in is available from 24 hours before departure to 1 hour before departure.

Overview of Austrian destinations with Quick Check-in

You can now check in quickly and simply using the Quick Check-in terminals located in the departure halls of Vienna Airport and many international airports. This service is now also available at many international airports. To take advantage of the terminals, you must be travelling with an ATB ticket (featuring a magnetic strip) or etix® (electronic ticket). Check-in for flights to the US is not possible at Quick Check-in.
At Vienna Airport you can use the Quick Check In Terminals even if you have luggage to check in!

You can check in at City Air Terminal in Wien Mitte until 75 min. before depature of your flight before getting onto the train (CAT) in town, drastically cutting down your time spent queuing at the airport! During CAT operating hours, there will be three check-in counters and five automatic check-in machines (four with baggage deposit facilities) available for your use at Wien-Mitte. Please observe that check in of bulky luggage is not provided at City Air Terminal. 

Day Before Check-in at City Air Terminal: from 24 hours prior to departure, you can check in, deposit your luggage and reserve your seat at the Check-in counters.

The traditional way to check in is at the airport counter. If you want to check in at the Check-in Counter shortly before your flight, please do be aware of the Check-in Times. Our ground staff will of course be happy to answer any queries about your flight at any time.

For Families with children we offer dedicated "familiy check-in desks" - counter 69 and 70 - at Vienna Airport (for schedulded and charterflights, all Star Alliance flights). Every child will receive a free surprise gift at check in!

Want to walk onto your flight without a care in the world? From 24 hours prior to departure, you can check in, deposit your luggage and reserve your seat at any one of our special ‘Day Before Check-in’ counters. These counters are open from 14.00 – 16.00 and from 20.00 – 22.00. The service is available for all flights departing from Vienna.
