 Linz is Austria’s second largest city after Vienna. It is located in the north of the country and is almost halfway between Vienna and Salzburg. Linz is a very elegant city with a historic Old Town quarter which is full of patrician houses and a large pedestrian zone.
The city of Linz has recently been awarded the ‘European Capital of Culture 2009’, and visitors to Linz can already explore the variety of culture and sights that are on offer in this lovely city. |
