All Austrian Airlines destinations now on Google Earth
Ever wondered exactly where Astana is or felt like taking a look around Bangkok Airport? At Google Earth, you can now ‘fly’ around the world to every one of Austrian’s destinations without leaving the comfort of your own home! All the cities Austrian flies to are marked with an Austrian logo – simply click on them, and you view your destination as if you were standing there, read information about the city and book your flight.
Here’s how it works…

Do you already have Google Earth installed on your PC?
If so, then you can download the Austrian Google Earth destinations here:

Ready for boarding?

Once you have installed Google Earth and the Austrian Google Earth destinations, you can start.

  • You will find all the Austrian Airlines destinations in the ‘Places’ menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Double-click on a destination, and you will soon be ‘flying’ to that place.
  • A window with information on that town and a link to the flight booking will open.

When you close Google Earth back down again the first time, you will be asked whether you would now like to save the elements from the ‘Temporary Places’ folder in the ‘My Places’ folder. Click on ‘Yes’, and the next time you open Google Earth up you will be able to go directly to the destination via the ‘Austrian Destinations’ icon on your desktop.
