Whether kids travel in the company of adults or alone, flying is normally an enjoyable experience for children, and you should prepare for it accordingly. The Austrian Airlines Group pays special attention to families with children from the moment they meet at the airport to the moment they leave their final destination airport.

Reservation

While completing your booking you may select one of our preflight services (up to 24hours before flight time):

• pre-reserve seats for your family
• on long-haul flights we offer baby-craddles (on request and up to availiability)
• on request (up to 24hours before flight time) we serve special baby- and child menus (in economy class after 2hours 30min. flight time)
• You may now bring your own safety seat or car seat with you onto flights. Find more about this service here.

Check-in

With immediate effect we offer a  "Family Check-in zone" at Vienna Airport. All small guests will receive a surprise when they arrive there.   

Further children and their escorts are allowed to board the aircraft before other passengers. We make every effort to make the journey as pleasant as possible for babies, children and their parents, and to support you in preparing for your flight.

On Board

We offer a wide selection of games, toys and puzzles to keep younger minds occupied in flight, a carefully designed menu for children and lots more exciting entertainment aimed at the needs of younger guests.
