The less hand baggage you take with you, the more comfortable your flight will be! A single item of hand baggage is permitted to measure 55x40x23cm (21,4x15,5x9in) and weigh a maximum of 8 kg/18lbs. The measurements of your hand baggage will be checked via a hand baggage frame by employees of the airport security authorities.

HON-Circle Members/Senators/Star Alliance Gold Card Holders and Business Class passengers:

the first weighing up to 8 kg/18lbs, and the second up to 4 kg/8lbs (the latter can also be a suit bag with max dimensions of 57x54x15cm/22,3x21,1x5,9in).
Economy Class passengers:
1 item weighing up to 8 kg/18lbs.
For flights to/from US you may only carry one piece of hand baggage with you.
Should your hand baggage not be accepted because it exceeds these standard measurements, we would ask you to present the relevant item at one of our check-in counters. This measure ensures to maintain our high standards of security on board the aircraft and provides you with sufficient space for your hand baggage in the cabin.
