| The Moscow group of artists AES+F present the final days of mankind as a computer game with their video triptych "The last Riot" at the 2007 Venice Biennale. The artists want it to be understood that the virtual world, like an organism in a test-tube in the latter years of the 20th century, has run out of control. Now it has freed itself from its ancestral bounds, absorbed its human creator and mutated into something entirely new. |
