What are the benefits of Web Check-in?

Your etix (electronic ticket) enables you to

• check in from the comfort of your home or office,
• select your preferred seat, and
• print out your own boarding pass or get your mobile boarding card
• from 24 hours up to 1 hour prior to departure.

Are you travelling with luggage? If so, simply hand it in at our "bag drop" counters. Then you can go directly to the departure gate or relax for a while in one of our lounges.

Please observe the Web Check-in deadlines at the respective airports and your boarding time at the gates. These are shown on your boarding pass.

NEW: Austrian Airlines and City Airport Train (CAT) are offering reduced tickets for all Austrian guests using Web Check-in. Here is how you get your reduced City Airport Train (CAT) ticket:

• use Austrian Web Check-in, print your boarding pass or use our mobile boarding pass service
• buy a reduced CAT ticket at one of the automatic maschines in any CAT station
• reduction (€ 7,50 instead of €10) valid for the day of departure, oneway or return

• If you did not receive your ticket invoice at the time of booking, you can print it out together with your boarding pass.
• If you're travelling with luggage, you'll get your boarding pass at the airport from the staff at our check-in counters or one of the Quick Check-in machines.
• You can check in online for direct, return and connecting flights.
• You can use Web Check-in to rebook to another flight - provided your purchased ticket permits rebooking at no additional charge and there are seats available in the relevant fare class on the alternative flight.
• You're not flying after all or have rebooked to another flight?You can also use the Web Check-in facility to check yourself out again.

To use Austrian Web Check-in you need to have:

• access to a PC with an internet connection and a standard printer,
• a confirmed booking on an Austrian scheduled flight.
