Should you ever require friendly advice in using the new facilities at Vienna Airport, our Travel Coaches are there to help. These specially trained employees can support you by explaining how to use the new possibilities efficiently – whether it be on the Quick Check-in machines or in accessing the Fast Lane. Unaccompanied children are also in the safest possible hands with our Travel Coaches.

Our Fast Lane Service enables Business Class passengers and holders of Senator cards (Star Gold passengers) to pass through central security lanes at Vienna Airport more quickly and with less fuss. And in order that you are able to benefit properly from this new smoother service, our Travel Coaches are always on hand to offer advice.

During flight operating hours, baggage porters are available on request in the departure and arrival halls. Porter charge: EUR 1.50 per piece of baggage. (Figures subject to change.)

Self-service luggage trolleys are available from 46 deposit points located in all sections of Vienna Airport. The trolleys can be operated using 9 coins in 8 different currencies, which are refunded upon their return.

The coins that can be used are: 

EUR 1 and EUR 2, CZK 5, SEN 20, CNY 10, SFR 1, PLN 50.

At the largest deposit point, located in the Arrivals Hall, we have provided two machines to change  USD 1, GBP 5, EUR 5 and EUR 10

notes into coins. Please keep an appropriate coin ready to use on your arrival at Vienna Airport.

Smaller shopping trolleys are available for your use free of charge in the transfer area.

Vienna Airport provides safe deposit boxes for the safekeeping of various papers, keys and similar that are not required on the aircraft.

Charge:
EUR 2.70 per unfinished day from the 1st to the 4th day
EUR 0.80 per unfinished day from the 5th day onwards. (Figures subject to change.)

For the duration of the winter schedule, it will be possible to deposit winter clothing for proper safekeeping at the airport while taking long-range flights south. This service will be available 24 hours a day. Prices on request at Vienna Airport.
