Step 1: You are a Miles & More member, and register once for the brand new SMS Check-in Service by clicking here.
 
Step 2: Shortly before your scheduled departure (ca. 23 hours), you receive a ‘Check-in Invitation’ by SMS.
 
Step 3: You reply to this Invitation SMS by quoting an ‘A’ for Aisle or ‘W’ for Window. You have now checked in, and your preferred seat is reserved for you. Your reply must be sent by the acceptance deadline of your flight at the latest.
 
Step 4: You will then receive your mobile boarding pass directly on your mobile phone. If you wish to deposit luggage, please check the valid acceptance deadlines.

Here’s an example of an SMS Check-in Invitation. We offer this service on all Austrian scheduled flights on which Austrian Web Check-in and transmission of the mobile boarding pass is possible. And all it costs you is the price of sending your SMS.
