| Austrian expands network into Middle East: Premium Service on Amman route from May 2009 |

The Austrian Airlines Group continues to expand its route network into the Middle East. From 5 May 2009 onwards, the company will incorporate another destination into its regional flight schedule, with four new flights a week to Amman, capital of the Kingdom of Jordan. Flights on the new route will operate using an Airbus A320 featuring the Austrian Premium Service, enabling guests to enjoy a unique mix of Austrian hospitality and Oriental flair.

Change to Flight Plan effective 01 May 2009: Vienna to Jeddah via Riyadh

As of May 1st, 2009 Austrian Airlines will keep its 3 weekly flights to Riyadh with a continuing service to Jeddah. The current direct flights to Jeddah will be suspended as of May 1st, 2009. Passengers currently booked on OS 897 VIE-RUH and OS 898 RUH-VIE will be automatically rebooked. Our guests can stay on board during the 45 minutes stop in Riyadh.
Please keep in mind we still offer our remarkable Austrian Premium Service on flights to Riyadh and Jeddah.
