| New York – October 10, 2008: Continuing its proud tradition of christening its aircraft with the names of uniquely Austrian institutions and places, Austrian Airlines this week renamed one of its Boeing 767 aircraft, the “Wiener Sängerknaben,” after the world-famous Vienna Boys Choir (pictured). The 767 will service Austrian’s routes to New York, Washington, Toronto, Beijing and Mumbai. |

| New York – October 2, 2008: In a three-day mobile marketing campaign aimed at New York’s business traveler, Austrian Airlines this week dispatched five scooters to the city’s highest-traffic areas, including Midtown, Battery Park and Wall Street, with mobile billboards in tow, to publicize the airline’s service to Europe. The scooters carried a total of 12,000 bags of Viennese coffee, weighing in at nearly 1,000 pounds. |

| New York – September 23, 2008: Last week, Austrian Airlines inaugurated its new Training Center -- the third and final complex of its Vienna Aviation Campus. Designed by ARGE BWM Architects and Partners, the building was constructed around a “sky” theme, with 870 glass panels in three different shades of blue that change appearance according to the weather and time of day. With the opening of this building, Austrian Airlines is now able to train all its staff at a single location – a unique concept in Europe, but one which Austrian affirms is necessary for the continued high quality operation of the airline. |

The results were drawn from more than 15 million air passengers from 95 countries around the world. Dozens of city combinations are available; sample roundtrip Business Class fares are: New York-Budapest $3,002; Washington, DC-Prague $3,316; Washington, DC-Mumbai $4,744; Chicago-Bucharest $3,316; New York-Tel Aviv $4,117. New York – March 31, 2008: Austrian Airlines today marks the 50th anniversary of its inaugural flight from Vienna to London, which took off on March 31, 1958 aboard a jet-prop Viscount.
Fifty years later, Austrian is a member of the prestigious Star Alliance and operates more than 100 aircraft on flights to more than 130 destinations.
